Privacy
Updated October 31, 2026. This covers the devicevigil.com website and waitlist. The browser extension will have its own section here before it launches.
Who we are
DeviceVigil is a product of Thump LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. Contact: hello@devicevigil.com.
What this website collects
- Your answer to the pricing question, if you click one.
- Your email address and whether you want the weekly digest, if you join the waitlist.
- Your survey answers, if you send them.
- A random session number kept in your browser’s session storage for this visit only, so your answers can be grouped together. It is deleted when you close the tab.
- The campaign tags in the link you followed (for example, utm_source=google) and the name of the website that linked to us. Not the full address of that page.
We do not use cookies, advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site, and we do not store your IP address. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security for a short period.
Why
To decide what to build and what to charge, to email you when early access opens, and, if you opted in, to send the weekly digest. We do not sell or share your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
Answers and emails are stored in a Google Workspace spreadsheet controlled by Thump LLC. The website runs on Vercel. Emails will be sent through a transactional email provider that is bound to process them only on our behalf.
Your choices
- Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email hello@devicevigil.com from the address you signed up with. We act within 30 days, usually within two.
